Mind the Children the podcast

Diving into Mind the Children’s mission in Dutch podcast for International Migrant’s Day

For this year’s International Migrant’s Day Mind the Children produced a Dutch podcast to involve the Dutch public into the issues surrounding minor migrants and refugees that disappear in Europe.

Every year thousands of migrant and refugee children disappear in Europe. How can this happen? Who is responsible? And how can these children and young people be better protected?

For International Migrant’s Day Mind the Children publishes a podcast on this topic. Veronika Pisorn, project coordinator at Defense for Children, speaks with two guests: Babiche Routledge of the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and Carla van Os, researcher at the University of Groningen. We also hear input from Sanne Terlingen, investigative journalist and co-founder of Lost in Europe, a collective of journalists who jointly investigate the issues surrounding migration and the disappearance of minors.
